WADE SAWMILL

Robin and Marian Wade of Wade Sawmill have again renewed their sponsorship of the FraserCoastShow for 2007. They are loyal supporters of their community and the Show Society is very pleased to have them on board again.

Wade Sawmill is situated just north of Maryborough on the highway in the Moonaboola Industrial Estate. Robin and Marian Wade purchased their first sawmill licence in 1981. In the beginning, Railway Sleepers were their main product branching out to include Landscape Sleepers. In 1984, Wades built a new mill which enabled to cut Sawn Hardwood and Fencing Timbers.Wades again outgrew their surroundings and built a new mill at the present site in 1989. Consequently, Robin and Marian Wade installed a CCA timber treatment plant. Wade's mill is a modern semi-automatic sawmill manufacturing a large range of timber products including Pine Rails and Palings.

Wade's attribute their success to the fact that their customers are very important to them and they always strive to offer a quality product at a competitive price.
